For a shopping centre in Turčianske Teplice, we produced illuminated advertising light boxes and projecting signs. In this kind of building, signage has several tasks at once: it identifies individual stores, helps customers with orientation and contributes to the overall look of the facade.
The photos show illuminated boxes above store entrances. Each box carries a different brand, but all of them need to work within one architectural space. For that reason, the structures should look consistent, be installed at the correct height and have a similar technical quality.
LED lighting and advertising print
The project uses LED lighting, advertising print and aluminium construction. Light boxes are practical for retail premises because they combine a large visible surface with even illumination. Customers mainly notice the brand graphics, but the final result also depends on technical details: a solid box body, proper light diffusion, clean placement of the printed surface and safe facade installation.
RAVAFOL presents light boxes as a suitable solution for large illuminated surfaces and logos that need to be visible outdoors. In a shopping centre, this matters throughout the day. During daylight, the sign works with colour and size; in the evening, lighting keeps it readable.
Twilight switch or timer in practice
This project also confirms a twilight switch or timer. For the user, it is a practical detail that is often not visible at first glance but improves everyday operation. Lighting can switch on according to light conditions or a set schedule, so the operator does not need to handle switching manually.
Similar light boxes are suitable for shopping centres, retail parks, standalone stores and service premises. Combined with projecting signs, they create a system that supports visibility from a distance and orientation along the facade.
